A tasty spin on classic bruschetta.
Preheat oven to 175C/350F.
Thinly slice baguette into 15 pieces and arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Bake baguette slices for 9-11 minutes, flipping halfway, until bread is toasted to your liking.
While baguette is baking, stir together tomatoes, mozzarella, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Spread 1/2 teaspoon of pesto onto each slice of toast and top with a heaping tablespoon of tomato/mozzarella mixture.
Drizzle balsamic vinegar over crostini (pro tip: place your thumb over the top of the vinegar bottle to help control the flow) and sprinkle with chopped basil.
